These have been a staple in my burger recipe collection for a couple of years now. If you enjoy Greek flavors, you will fall in love with them! I serve these on naan bread or pita (pocketless) bread, but they are good on a good old fashioned bun too.
Greek Turkey Burgers
1lb. ground turkey
2 tbsp. parsley
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. garlic or garlic paste
¼ cup red pepper, minced
¼ cup red onion, minced
¾ cup crumbled feta cheese
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and shape into 4 patties (or more, depending on how large you want them).
Fry on the stovetop or cook on the grill until done, when the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Serve on naan bread if desired, with lettuce, mayo, cucumber and tomato slices.
