For my little one's 2nd birthday I planned an ice cream shop birthday party - a perfect theme for her hot August birthday. Not to mention she is pretty obsessed with ice cream and goes crazy for it. I spent hours searching Pinterest and Google for inspiration and found some great stuff, which I adapted to my vision for the party. I'm really pleased with how everything came together! Details are with the pictures below.

I got these ice cream scoops at Gordman's.
The tablecloth is canvas fabric that I got at Hobby Lobby, then stenciled ice cream cones along the border with acrylic paint.
And here is the cake I made her. She loved it!
We wanted an area for the kids to play so my husband made a mini "ice cream shop" out of PVC pipe, and we painted and scalloped canvas fabric to go on top for the awning. He also made the bench.
I love this girl! Happy birthday! =)
